In the high-street streetwear sector, the print is often the first point of contact between a brand and its audience. However, as the market matures toward luxury standards, flat, thin prints are being replaced by Physical Dimension. At Mingarment, we’ve formalized the technical requirements for High-Density (HD) Screen Printing, specifically optimized for our signature 500GSM fleece.
Today, we break down the industrial logic behind creating prints that don't just sit on the fabric—they stand off it.

The Power of Depth—A Mingarment boxy hoodie featuring a 3D-effect high-density script.
Standard screen printing uses a single-pass ink application. Our HD process requires a Multi-Layer Stacking Protocol. We apply specialized high-viscosity ink through laser-cut mesh screens, layering up to 10–12 times to achieve a sharp, vertical "wall" of color.
The result is a print that ranges from 0.8mm to 1.5mm in height, providing a tactile, architectural feel that enhances the garment’s premium positioning.
Applying thick ink to a deep-grain fabric like our Vertical Twill Fleece carries the risk of cracking or peeling. To solve this, Mingarment utilizes a Dual-Stage Bonding Agent. We first lay down a high-elasticity clear base that sinks into the fibers, acting as an anchor for the rigid HD ink above. This ensures the print stays crisp even during the garment’s most intense wash cycles.

Edge Precision—Observing the vertical 'wall' of high-density ink on a 500GSM surface.
The more layers we add, the higher the risk of misalignment. Our facility utilizes Computer-Aided Registration (CAR) on our printing lines. This technology monitors the mesh positioning for every single stroke, ensuring that the 12th layer of ink lands exactly where the 1st layer did, with a tolerance of less than 0.1mm.

Precision Lines—Our automated carousel printing system ensures zero registration errors.
Every HD print at Mingarment must pass our "Stress & Stretch" test. We subject the printed area to rapid heat-cold cycles and mechanical pull tests. Verified by our 4-Zone Technical SOP, we guarantee that your brand’s most complex typography and logos maintain their structural integrity for the entire lifespan of the garment.
